Story of Us
“The ThrowDown” was founded by Amber Gourlay, a Perth based mum of 4 boys who couldn’t find a durable rug that also had style to suit the needs of her young and adventurous family.
“Having 4 boys over the past 6 years I found that most of my rugs had only a single purpose…whether it was a beach rug for my grommets, nappy change-mat, an indoor throw…none of them were truly multi-purpose and easily transportable. I came up with The Throwdown which can be used for any purpose imaginable from romantic beach picnics with hubby, pool sessions with your girlfriends, days at the park with family and friends or as play mats for my toddlers play- dates.
